The ACLR solicits, edits, and publishes submissions from Amherst College students separately from non-Amherst students. This is to ensure a lack of bias throughout the selection and editing process as well as to ensure that the journal does not become isolated within an Amherst bubble. However, throughout each semester the ACLR will publish periodic “AC Notes.” These will be articles submitted by staff members as well as students who are not part of the Law Review.
The standards of content and quality will be consistent between Submissions and AC Notes. The process for submitting AC Notes will also remain consistent with the process of regular Submissions; if interested, Amherst College students should refer to the journal’s guidelines and format requirements.
